Najae's journey in golf began at the age of seven when she joined The First Tee of Atlanta, now known as The First Tee of Metro Atlanta. This program instilled in her core values like perseverance and confidence, shaping her character and inspiring her curiosity. Najae's youthful enthusiasm led her to explore various interests, including math club, chess club, and gymnastics. Despite the challenges faced by African American women in the male-dominated sport of golf, Najae remains steadfast in her pursuit of becoming an LPGA Tour Professional. Her dedication is evident in her impressive achievements, including representing The First Tee in leadership academies and skills competitions, winning her high school regionals tournament for three consecutive years, and qualifying for state all four years.

Her collegiate career at Fairleigh Dickinson University further showcased her talent, earning her academic and athletic honors while contributing to the team's success in the regular and post season. A significant setback occurred during her senior year at North Carolina A&T when a car accident forced her to temporarily put her golf career on hold. Despite the physical and emotional challenges, Najae's resilience and determination remained unwavering.

Despite the physical and emotional challenges, Najae's resilience and determination remained unwavering. During her recovery, she pursued another passion project: creative direction & a media company. This venture combined her childhood dream of becoming a designer/director with her aspirations as a professional golfer. As she continues her journey back to peak performance after recent surgeries has tested her limits, Najae has developed a strong mental fortitude. She and her team are working tirelessly to overcome obstacles and achieve her ultimate goal: standing at the top of the leaderboard in an LPGA tournament, proudly wearing her own apparel.
